Dr Nevil Hutchinson

Born went to school in Swansea before studying Medical Sciences and Philosophy at Cambridge University. Took the MB and BChir at Cambridge University after clinical studies at King’s College Hospital. Has worked and studied in New Zealand and Australia before returning to the UK to complete his training in Brighton and London. Trained in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at King’s College Hospital, Guy’s Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital and the Heart Hospital (University College Hospital) before taking up a Consultant post in Brighton in 2004.
Special interests: Haemostasis management and blood transfusion (including thromboelastometery and platelet aggregometry); Perioperative Transoesophageal Echocardiography
